Program
This Family Sign-in Codes. This Family, operated by Jon Aaron, sends text messages containing one-time sign-in codes to people who use, or have been invited to, the This Family family app, when they ask for a code. We don't send invitations, marketing or promotional texts from this program.
How you opt in
A relative adds your phone number to your invitation, or you add a phone number to your account. On the invitation and sign-in screens, you enter or confirm your number and tap Text me a code. Next to that button you'll see:
"We'll text you a sign-in code. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help."
Tapping the button is your consent to receive that code. We only send codes to phone numbers already attached to an invitation or a This Family account. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase. You can always sign in by email, Apple or Google instead.
What we send, and how often
Message frequency varies: one text each time you ask for a sign-in code, and nothing otherwise. Example:
"This Family: your sign-in code is 482913. Don't share it with anyone. Reply STOP to opt out."
Costs
Message and data rates may apply. This Family doesn't charge for text messages, but your mobile carrier's standard rates apply.
Opting out
Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts from us. We'll send one message confirming you've been unsubscribed, and then no more. You can also reply UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END or QUIT. To start again, reply START, or request a code from the app again.
Help
Reply HELP to any message for help, or email support@thisfamily.app.
Carriers
Supported on major US and Canadian carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on your carrier and coverage and isn't guaranteed.
Privacy
We use your phone number only to send these messages and to help you sign in. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties. Read our full Privacy Policy.
